Ridge Junior Athletics

Covid Update!
At this time, Ridge Athletics will not begin until July at the earliest. This is typical for Ridge anyways, as we typically begin with open gyms/camps/more when it comes to July. High school has begun individual workouts/small group workouts/weight training this week. We will learn from what they are doing and see what directives/decisions are made within the next month in regards to Fall before moving forward at Ridge. Once we receive the official word that everything is a "go" we will communicate immediately with all students interested in playing sports to make sure they receive schedules and requirements to play. If and when it is allowed,  I will be hosting our Annual Meet the Team night in which all coaches will be on hand to meet and I will go over everything required for your son/daughter to participate in sports. At this time, we cannot host this meeting, and our hope is that by July we could host some sort of meeting.

For those ready to go, I would make sure you have your physical and final forms done for next year so this doesn't hold you up once we do get the go ahead. I promise that this will not go away and be required! Other than that, please be patient until we learn more. You are not missing any workouts/tryouts or anything else from the schools perspective when it comes to sports. Stay safe and we hope to connect in July with our Ridge Firebirds!

In order to play any sport at Ridge, including open gyms, conditioning, and try-outs, the athlete must be registered on the Final Forms website.  In addition to Final Forms, ALL interested students must have a current OHSAA Physical Form on file in the front office. A doctor must sign this form which can be printed from Final Forms once registration is complete
